FUCHS was established in Mannheim Germany, 1931. The company has 43 production sites and 4300 employees in 70 different countries.
OPET Madeni Yağ. Tic ve A.Ş. was established in 1966 and after Koç Holding buying 50% of it in 2002, the company has become a candidate to be the leader in the motor oil market in Turkey.
The merge of FUCHS and OPET Mad. Yağ. A.Ş. has started in 2005 under the name of OPET-FUCHS Mad. Yağ Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. and with a ratio of 50/50 the new company has been established. OPET-FUCHS has been active in automotive, iron-steel, white goods, food and textile sectors since then.
